How do you beat the hive mind in calamity? ›

The Molten Fury paired with Hellfire Arrows can deal high damage to the boss. The Pumpler and Aquashard Shotgun paired with Flash Rounds can deal great damage to the Hive Mind. The Toxibow paired with Jester's Arrows can be utilized to attack the Hive Mind and its summons.

The Sand Dollar is an extremely powerful rogue weapon that will quickly handle the Hive Mind. The Mycoroot is a very good option for close ranged damage. The Ashen Stalactite's stealth strike is also a good alternative. The Meteor Fist's stealth strike is great against the Hive Mind and its minions.

The Hive Tumor is a rare Pre-Hardmode stationary enemy that spawns in The Corruption biome. When killed, it will summon The Hive Mind. The Hive Tumor has abnormally high life for Pre-Hardmode, ensuring that early players won't accidentally summon the boss.
